El Ministerio de Economía, Planificación y Desarrollo (MEPyD) realizó la cuarta edición de Diálogos del Desarrollo para las tres provincias de la región Yuma, en un acto encabezado por la vicepresidenta Raquel Peña, el ministro Pável Isa Contreras, y el equipo de la Oficina Regional de Planificación del Este.

El espacio Diálogos del Desarrollo tuvo lugar en el Centro de Convenciones de la Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) en Higüey, con el objetivo de discutir con los actores públicos, económicos y sociales los lineamientos y acciones estratégicas identificadas en los Diálogos Provinciales que se efectuaron en La Altagracia, La Romana y El Seibo.

La vicepresidenta Peña y el ministro Isa Contreras afirmaron que el objetivo principal del gobierno es elevar la calidad de vida de la gente, por lo que todas las políticas y acciones de esta gestión están orientadas a contribuir con ese propósito.

Peña expresó que en el programa de gobierno presentado por el presidente Luis Abinader, se establece claramente que el objetivo principal de todas las políticas públicas implementadas por esta administración es elevar la calidad de vida de la gente.

“Esto lo hemos logrado articulando todas las instituciones del Gobierno y trabajando en coordinación con cada sector de la sociedad en una gran alianza público-privada”, manifestó la vicepresidenta de la República.

Sostuvo que desde el primer día de esta administración, se ha asumido una filosofía de trabajo en equipo, aunando todos los esfuerzos políticos, académicos y sociales para hacer avanzar a la República Dominicana.

“Somos un gobierno que escucha, un gobierno que dialoga permanentemente y que responde, sin dilación, a todas las demandas ciudadanas de manera rápida”, enfatizó.

Puntualizó que esta visión es la que orienta los diferentes gabinetes sectoriales que se han conformado, así como los múltiples encuentros del presidente Luis Abinader con los diferentes actores económicos y sociales de todo el país.
